Personally, I’m not a big fan of them. Lots of things on their website remind me of Chinese knockoff doll vendors like no brand names (in-stock dolls section) and gifs in the descriptions. Their 3-in-1 robot dolls are SY Dolls, which is generally a lower-end brand, but might be ok for the price (I don’t know if I trust their electronics though). Smaller dolls (120-130cm) usually don’t have the robotic sex features. Irontech is a higher quality brand with those features, but more expensive.

Based on the prices, they sell knockoff dolls with stolen photos. Personally, I would avoid that website. Too many red flags like no About Us section, stock photo banners, fake reviews, no brand names, etc. Their website is so bare-bones, it genuinely looks like a scam, and they might not even send you anything.
I had a brief interaction with Thedollchannel that put his site on my NO list, due to poor communication. Asked if a certain model was in stock and mentioned some of the links were broken (which is why I emailed him in the first place, I was confused because it said preorder), he said yes it’s in stock and nothing’s broken. Also, he includes a disclaimer that silicone piper dolls come with zero warranty for normal use. I can get the same benefit of no warranty from a chinese reseller. Anyways, it’s his loss. I found the same doll on another reputable site for $1200, so I’ll buy it from there after the chinese new year holiday.

Last I checked (a long time ago), piperdoll.com (without the s) was the official website, but it looks like they changed it. Maybe piperdolls.com is the official one now. On Twitter, Doll Forever linked piperdolls.com before so they’re probably legit.
Since they all come from the same factory, technically they all have the same customization options. Some vendors just won’t list all of them (more options = more confusing for customers). I still recommend ordering from a vendor – you can contact them before ordering. However, if you choose piperdolls.com, I think they’re probably also legit. I just assume their customer service won’t be as good.

Every vendor has different prices. Unlike other industries, sex dolls don’t have MSRP or price controls. The price is completely up to the vendor. Vendors who have more operational/business costs and taxes usually sell higher (generally Western vendors), while Asian or Chinese vendors typically sell for the bare-minimum (and have different customer service standards).
Personally, I don’t recommend ordering directly from the brand. Generally, they focus more on design and production than customer sales. As a result, their websites tends to be outdated, and their customer service might not be very good. Zelex in particular doesn’t reply to my emails.. As long as it’s a reputable vendor, you’ll get the doll you ordered regardless of slight price variations.

Loveshop.ca (or loveshoptoys) seems like a legit company with many locations, but I never heard of them. Despite having so many stores, they don’t have much reviews online.
On that website, Mastermate and Eden Novelties seem like the same company. They basically put their brand name on OEM dolls. Assuming the photos are legit (and not stolen), they’re AF Dolls, which are budget-friendly dolls with decent quality. I don’t see Aibei on that website, but Aibei is generally a lower-end brand, similar to AF Doll. Their quality is ok for the price, but somewhat unpredictable. They’re usually overpriced on Western vendors though.

They sell knockoff dolls with stolen photos. The most recognizable are photos stolen from WM and Piper Doll. Their prices are suspiciously low – even lower than most knockoff doll websites. Dolls for $68-150 are a huge red flag.
The doll in the cart is basically a knockoff of a 108cm WM Doll (which should cost 5x more). It’s using WM’s photos but obviously you’re not getting an authentic one at that price. It’s really just a gamble; you don’t know what you’re going to get from that website.

Low prices, stolen photos (with WM’s watermarks removed), lots of fake reviews, and just a very bare-bones website (with only 2 pages of dolls). If they don’t reply, try to get your money back asap (by contacting your payment provider). A TPE doll shouldn’t take 3 months to arrive. Almost everything is wrong about that website.

In addition to height, there are many different factors that affect the price like material and brand. In that height range, TPE dolls are usually around $1500-$2000. Silicone dolls would be between $2000-$8000+. However, price alone isn’t a good indicator while a website is good or not. Customer service is equally as important.

There’s a lot to unpack here. I’ll just respond briefly.
1) Price-wise, sex dolls are luxury products, and there’s kinda no way around it: Material + Labor + Shipping + Vendor (middle man) fee. Two big reasons why name-brand dolls are expensive are R&D costs and vendors. This isn’t really an issue for knockoff dolls (like the ones from Ebay), which are usually also mass-shipped by sea to save money. Chinese vendors don’t add much to the price, while Western vendors add quite a bit (but also offer better customer service).
2) Despite all the advancements, sex dolls are still in the early phases. I agree that they’re still very flawed (quality-wise), especially since 99% of them are made in China. The difference in this industry is that most brands are Chinese. We’re used to Western brands manufacturing in China but maintaining Western standards. Meanwhile in the sex doll industry, it’s mainly all Chinese brands with Chinese standards.
3) Most websites do have different bodies and heads you can mix-and-match. What you see on VSDoll is something that’s more common for knockoff sellers (“height options”). It’s considered deceptive because different bodies/heights have different proportions, while the promo photos (usually stolen) only show 1 body.
4) I can see a demand for repair services (someone actually contacted me a while back and wanted to start a doll repair service). I agree with you that one of the biggest flaws in this industry is the inability to see dolls in-person before purchasing. It’s hard to justify spending thousands on something you can’t see, touch, or try out. Unfortunately, that’s completely up to the vendors/sellers (outside of China). Because most are just drop-shippers (you order a doll > it’s produced in China > then it’s shipped directly to your house), most vendors don’t have stores, warehouses, or showrooms where people can see the dolls. Unless more vendors open up physical locations, nothing will really change, which is the sad reality of it.
As for recycling, only the factories in China would have use for recycled dolls. Considering it probably costs hundreds to ship it back to China, I doubt many people would do this.
5) Regarding promo photos, this is a big problem that’s actually getting worse. To sell as many dolls as possible, brands will make their dolls look as good as possible. This means they’ll use filters and photoshop, poses and clothing to add realism, and hide any flaws with the doll. Sometimes, this even means not showing the vagina. Although some brands do have simple front, back, and side photos, many brands choose the deceptive and “aesthetic” approach to sell their dolls.
6) Extra thoughts: Some people wonder why are dolls only made in China and not in other countries? Probably due to stigma, manufacturing limitations, and environmental concerns, only China is willing to make them. However, there are at least 2 American sex doll brands, RealDoll and Sinthetics. If you think Chinese dolls are expensive, RealDoll charges over $7k per doll with a 1 year wait time. You can probably go through many Chinese dolls for the cost of 1 RealDoll.
Final note: One brand has done something cool in my opinion, which is Kimber Doll. They’re an Australian company that mass-produces 1 type of doll in China, then mass-ships them to various warehouses. Because of this, they’re able to offer their dolls for only $600. They became fairly popular and successful with this unique approach.

I never heard of gflovedoll but many of their customer reviews are fake. Since their prices aren’t anything special, I would choose a more established vendor to be safe.
Dollter is probably legit, but other than a few email messages, I don’t have any personal experience with them. If they’re banned on TDF, it’s probably because they sell small dolls.

That’s the official Irontech website so yes, they’re legit. Their “English is a little off” because they’re in China, and brands aren’t exactly known for good customer service. Usually, I recommend ordering from a vendor for better customer service and buyer protection. Ordering from Irontech is the cheaper option, while ordering from a vendor is the safer option. You’ll get the same doll, but if something goes wrong, they might not help you. A random customer doesn’t have the leverage that a vendor has. Having said that, many people seem to order from Irontech directly so you should do some research on their customer service first before ordering.

Unfortunately, it’s unpredictable; I can’t say whether it’ll be good or not. Unless you know the factory where they’re made, it’s basically a gamble.
Generally, knockoff dolls have lower quality TPE, less flexible skeletons, wire wrists, goose-necks, etc, to cut down on costs, but for some people it’s good enough. However, it depends on the factory (and their quality control). I don’t know where VS gets their dolls from.
Everyone is different so it’s hard to answer your last question. You could try Kimber Doll, which is an affordable option. Some people had success with knockoffs from Hanidoll, but ultimately, knockoff dolls are a gamble. I recommend doing some research and finding real reviews if you’re going down that path, but I do think it’s a good idea to start with something less expensive. However, other than Kimber Doll and some mini dolls, I don’t know any other “good cheap dolls.”

They sell knockoff dolls, and look very untrustworthy. In the very first sentence of their About Us section, they claim to have launched in 2016 and that they’re TDF-approved, but their website was created in 2022, and they’re not TDF-approved. Already lying upfront. Their listings and “Factory photos section” are all stolen photos. Low prices and no brand names. They basically have every red flag in the book.
To put simply, most reputable or established vendors don’t sell mini dolls. Due to various laws, issues with payment processors, etc, most “legit” vendors simply won’t list them. That’s why when you search for mini dolls, all you find are Chinese knockoff doll vendors. Some reputable vendors might carry Irokebijin or Piper Doll’s mini dolls, but you won’t find much selection. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend any websites because as I said, most reputable vendors don’t sell mini dolls anymore. When I google “mini sex doll,” 99% of the results are Chinese knockoff doll sellers. If you go for one of them, it’s all a gamble.

I would recommend your friend also go with My Robot Doll. The price is about the same, and My Robot Doll is a reputable vendor, while the other is more unknown. Looking at SDS’s website, they seem legit, but I don’t know anything else about them. Better to play it safe than to be a guinea pig in my opinion (especially when the price is about the same).

It’s hard to tell with this website. As you said, there’s no information about them online. The biggest red flag is no brand names, which is a very big red flag. They might be selling overpriced knockoff dolls. Their trustspot reviews may also be fake. Therefore, I’d say they’re risky to order from (high chance their dolls aren’t authentic).

Generally I prefer MyRobotDoll as I’ve used them before and them having ApplePay made everything so much simpler and secure, but I’m interested in a 72cm downscaled art doll and MRD does not seem to have these. Yes, Kumadoll is still a trustworthy vendor. Mainly, I removed them due to 3 reasons: 1) I didn’t like some of their marketing tactics (they since fixed some of it), 2) They used to be the only vendor that offered certain brands, but MyRobotDoll carries many of those brands now, and 3) I’m not 100% sure of their after-sales support; since most people have no problems, that remains unanswered. Having said that, they’re a legit vendor, and I like them. They’re just not on my list right now. It seemed kind of impossible with how often the just sold banner would pop up. So yes, I noticed that too and it seemed really disingenuous but I am glad they finally got rid of that system. At first glance, I can see they tried to imitate RealLoveSexDolls’ website. Based on what I see, I’d say they’re probably “not legit.” While many listings look correct in terms of brands, customization options, and specs, there are some red flags in pricing. Several WM bodies, such as the 166C and 163H (“Jasmine”) are priced too low at $1499. That isn’t very realistic. Additionally, their About Us section reveals many more red flags. From there, it’s quite obvious that they’re a Chinese company pretending to be a factory/manufacturer (when they’re really just a vendor). That alone kills their trust for me. Combined with no reviews online, they’re a risky website to order from.

They’re a hard website to judge. They focus on affordable brands, including many lesser-known ones. Not only are you ordering from an unknown vendor (with unknown customer service), you’re also ordering an unknown brand (with unknown quality). It’s double the risk. I don’t have personal experience with them, so the risk is up to you, but it’s definitely gambling hoping to get a cheap, good quality doll from 2 unknowns.
I bought a SY doll at Kanadoll and the response was not very fast. Responded to my questions the next day and sent me a video of the factory and some photos of the factory. It has been almost a week since I received the doll. The doll’s skin is a bit whiter than I thought it would be, but it’s a common color difference problem, and the doll’s nails fell off two, they sent me glue to fix the problem, I think the overall service is not bad.

They sell knockoff dolls. Mostly stolen photos from WM Doll and JY Doll. Red flags include low prices, no brand names, no customization options, incorrect heights, etc. The gamble and risk is up to you, but I personally wouldn’t recommend them.
Also, stay away from RLSD (reallovesexdolls). They sold me a defective doll (hip joint broke after just 2 weeks), and they refuse to honor their guarantee. It appears that RLSD is a small drop ship operation with only 1 or 2 employees. No physical address.
If this is the same guy who posted a long comment thread about this on Reddit, there’s more to this story. RLSD arranged with the factory to ship him a new doll, but he got impatient (most dolls have a 30-day production time) and jumped the gun by filing a dispute with Paypal before the replacement was finished. I’ve never bought from RLSD before, but I’ve had a similar experience with a different vendor. The replacement arrived just like they promised, with the same production and shipping time as the defective original.
Bottom line: RLSD sold me a defective doll. Told me to throw it away. Refuse to shil new doll.
Also, RLSD has been listed as a scammer on ourdollcommunity and banned from that website.
How do I know for sure before I order a doll, if the doll has oral capability? You can’t tell from the pics if the mouth is sealed shut or is an orifice. They say in the description that it is.
But I’ve seen unboxing videos of the same doll when they opened it up, the head had a sealed mouth. I can’t afford to go through a buying process to find this out and have to return a heavy doll and probably have to pay shipping.

Which doll are you looking at? If “oral depth” is listed in the description, it probably has oral. However, sometimes vendors make mistakes. Generally, hard silicone heads and mini dolls won’t have oral. Only silicone heads that specifically say “soft silicone” have oral. Meanwhile, most full-sized TPE dolls have oral. Having said that, sometimes the oral cavity is so small, you can’t even use it. If you send me a link, I can take a look.
No, it was just a doll I was looking at online, and then I looked on YouTube at an unboxing video. It had a head that looked like on the doll online and it didn’t have oral, just a cheap head that looked like it had oral until you look close and it’s just a sealed mouth. I’d hate to have to go through a return because of this.
