The 2024 Shanghai API Expo is here, celebrating China’s “Adult Product Industry” for yet another year. Taking place between April 19-21, people from all around the world traveled to check out the latest sexual toys and products in the market. But I assume we’re all here for the sex dolls. As usual, many sex doll brands had their own booths with plenty of dolls on display. Since the expo isn’t over, this post is work-in-progress until more photos and videos come out. Until then, let’s journey through an incomplete Shanghai doll expo once more.

Jinsan
Jinsan showed up with some Angel Kiss and WM dolls. Although there weren’t many photos, these more-or-less give an idea of their booth. This includes their WIP robot head, but it isn’t the greatest-looking photo.
SE Doll
Sharing a booth with Dolls Castle, SE Doll only had one doll on display: the silicone 160cm C-cup Annika. She looks pretty cute here. Too bad they only had 1 tiny booth corner this time around.
JY Doll
JY Doll returned with many heads and fancy standing dolls as usual. They’re almost all exclusively silicone, with some TPE torsos on the side.
Elsa Babe
Elsa Babe went with a full anime theme at their booth. With bright colors and fancy doll cosplays, they seemed pretty popular.
CST Doll (BBdoll)
CST Doll returned with their usual round display of dolls, featuring many different heads and bodies. They also showed off the robots they’ve been working on.
Dolls Castle
A vendor called AllYourDolls made some nice videos at the expo. I can’t say much about the vendor, but he’s the only one making these kinds of videos so they’re worth watching. See Dolls Castle’s latest wacky creations.
Realing

AiZhiMei / Dime Doll
AiZhiMei (Dime Doll) is a cheap brand I talked about before, but their quality is still unknown (other than 1 bad review). Their promo photos look really good, but here are 2 of their dolls in-person. Courtesy: Shannon Wong
Other Random Stuff
Ukraine’s Volodymr Zelenskyy made an unexpected appearance in doll form. A weird but funny expo tradition (“Donald Trump” was there last time). This is most likely a wax head, and probably not for sale.
I thought this next photo was funny since a simple “Don’t touch” sign won’t stop people from touching things at an expo like this. Someone already knocked one over. 😆
Conclusion
The 2024 Shanghai API Adult Expo has come to an end, but unfortunately, these were the only photos and videos I could find. From what I heard, many sex doll brands simply didn’t show up this year. Other than maybe 1 or 2 brands missing here, this was pretty much it. In terms of trends, the most noticeable one was silicone dolls. Many brands primarily showcased silicone dolls over their TPE ones, which was kind of expected. Also apparently, there were much more women attending this year, perhaps highlighting a shift in culture, but also how dolls are perceived differently in the East and West. Anyway, if I find more content, I’ll add more. Otherwise, this more-or-less concludes this year’s Shanghai API Expo. Until next time!
