DS Doll Robotics Sex Robot Progress in 2021 Update

As sex dolls become increasingly more realistic and advanced, many people have wondered about the progress of their robot counterparts. Two years ago I wrote the post, Sex Robots May Be Here Sooner Than You Think, featuring various sex robot companies. As time went on, big players like RealDoll and DS Doll Robotics continued refining their craft while smaller companies, like MissDoll, seemingly disappeared from the marketplace. Some brands like SE Doll have robotic sex dolls that make a repetitive motion, but when people think of sex robots, they think of fully-functional AI robots. Which really narrows it down to just two sex robot contenders: RealDoll & DS Doll Robotics. Because it is much harder to find sex robot updates from RealDoll, this post will be dedicated to DS Doll Robotics’ progress in 2021. This will be regularly updated with highlights from their numerous update videos.

DS Doll Robotics 2021 Highlights

DS Doll Robotics is a robotics R&D company owned by DS Doll (EX Doll), one of the first silicone sex doll manufacturers founded in 2010. Based in Dalian, China, they first revealed their prototype robotic head in 2017. Since then, they have been developing a fully functional robot with an AI head and robotic body using mainly the funds from their sex doll sales. Although they originally started off with female prototypes, lately they focused in recreating historical figures with a decreased emphasis on sex. Unfortunately, most of their videos are only short TikTok videos, and because there are so many of them, only the most significant ones will be shown here.

On September 8, DS Doll Robotics showed off their robotic hand controlled by a special glove some more.

On July 28, DS Doll Robotics (DS) showed their robot’s ability to sit and stand for the first time.

On July 28, DS revealed a special glove that can be used to control a robotic hand. Perhaps a way for humans to control their robot’s movements.

On July 27, DS teased the opening of their “Future Technology Museum” for guests to come visit. One of their robots will serve as an information robot. The robot’s movements appear fairly smooth.

In May 2021, DS began taking pre-orders on their Robotic Head and Robotic Bust. However, there was no final price listed or release date- Only a £300.00 deposit amount. Needless to say, not many people pre-ordered one.

On March 18, DS showcased some fairly primitive movement on their new mascot robot. The robot is suspended in the air, but at least the legs can move.

On January 7, DS showed off some of their robot’s arm movement abilities in choreographed dance moves.

DS ended 2020 with this montage of their achievements and progress including funny moments from their previous videos.

DS Doll Robotics made many advancements in 2021. However, it may be difficult to tell from the short videos shown. Their robotic arms and hands continued to improve, and they have shown some progress in the legs department. Their biggest challenge still is getting the doll to stand and walk on its own. Because most of their videos are scripted, it’s hard to tell if the AI has improved or not. We do know that their AI head can respond to questions and play scripted speeches and choreography. Two years ago, I predicted that we will have a fully function AI sex robot within 5-10 years. Judging from DS Doll Robotics’ current progress, that time frame still seems plausible but may actually be closer to 10 years.

Does DS doll ship to the US I want the red robot woman she’s cute. Also can they program her so she can have conversations with me and give me hugs? Because I can’t get a girlfriend and I long for that touch. Please tell me where I can buy one for the full body ones. I’ll buy the head and bust if that’s all their selling for now

Really looking forward to these robots. They will have another advantage in that the current love dolls have the silicone fused with the skeleton, so it’s impossible to make any repairs or modifications to your doll. For example heating is known to fail, and is impossible to fix. However, it looks like these robots will have a removable silicone skin. This opens up the doll to repairs, modifications, and upgrades, including 3rd party modifications and parts.

I dont know about a company that uses models as fake engineers to boost investments…. That said, they should stick with sex dolls and add function to them from mechanical jayjays and or dolls that can thrust up and down using thier bodys in a realistic way. What they showed in all these vids, its been done since the 70s just as good but maybe less automated. Other company’s are focusing on getting robots to walk and run first which is the future.
